I am a predoctoral researcher at Northwestern Economics in Evanston, Illinois. My primary research interests include econometrics, microeconomic theory, and public economics. Under the guidance of Professors Charles Manski and Daniela Ladner, I am part of the Northwestern University Transplant Outcomes Research Collaborative (NUTORC); I apply econometric methods to medical literature, specifically regarding liver cirrhosis.

I hold a B.A. in Economics, Applied Mathematics, and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley. While at Berkeley, I was the Head of Peer Review at the Berkeley Economic Review and a research assistant for Professor Ulrike Malmendier. My background is non-traditional; born in Shanghai and raised in Guangzhou, I began my studies at Pasadena City College before transferring to Berkeley. I am native in English and Mandarin, and fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1).

My work involves the daily application of SQL, R, and Stata to process large-scale patient and claim datasets, alongside previous experience in Python, MATLAB, and Java. Outside of economics, I utilize GIS and 3D modeling software to create virtual environments for language exchange in VRChat. I am also an avid traveler and landscape photographer, with a particular passion for National Parks.
